F4/80
Using F4/80 as a marker for macrophage subsets in multiplex immunohistochemistry. This protein is highly and constitutively expressed on yolk sac-derived tissue-resident macrophages in mice but only at low levels in macrophages that are presumed to be of hematopoietic origin.
